Hi! Welcome to my SparkPage!

I joined SparkPeople in 2006. In 2009 I had a knee injury and gained some weight. With SparkPeople I was able to lose it and some more, but fell off the wagon and gained some back after a few years.

Now I'm looking forward to getting fitter and healthier with SparkPeople. I'm trying to pay attention to my trigger foods and to practise mindful eating. Also keeping track by weighing myself every week is something I want to do to keep myself accountable.

Some members in my family are also struggling with weight issues and I would like to try to motivate and encourage them to get healthy, but in a positive, not preachy, manner. I would also like to improve my coaching skills and become a better instructor in taekwondo.

I'm trying to find a good mix of exercising to prevent injuries. Exercising as such is no problem, I love sports.

Last but not least, I would really love to get rid of clutter in my house and get more organised!

Fitness Minutes: 179,674

My Goals:
Get to 56 kg by end November 2013.

Have a fit and healthy body, good, healthy knees :).

Be a better coach and instructor.

Get rid of the clutter in the house.


My Program:
Fitness:
- Strength: gym 2-3 times a week
- Cardio:
jogging/running at least twice a week; walking whenever and wherever possible
Taekwondo 2-5 times a week

Mix these two with cycling/swimming/classes (BodyCombat, functional training, BodyPump).

Try to have as much variability in the training to avoid injuries.

Yoga, stretching more!

Nutrition:
- Track foods for each day.
- Eat lots of vegetables, enough protein and some fruits and some good starches/whole grain products each day. Limit sugars, potatos, beer and other alcohol, processed foods.
- Drink at least 8 cups of water each day!

Get 8 hours of sleep each night.

Weigh-in once a week.

Set up an exercise "bank".

Clean one drawer/week, throw out unnecessary things.

I'm a 36 yr old female and live in Finland.

I'm 5'4''.


Other Information:
I like sports, both participating and watching.
