I Choose Me!
This is what I said when I first set up my page on SparkPeople - I'm sure I'm no different then most people, we've tried and tried to lose the weight, had a little success, something happens, we fall off the wagon, and gain what we lost and more. Well! This time is going to be different! I'm not going on a diet I am changing my LIFE! Well! This time is going to be different! I'm not going on a diet I am changing my LIFE! I started with some help from a naturopath to help wean me off the sugar and white stuff and had discovered The Eat-Clean Diet (which is a life style NOT a diet) and Tosca Reno. So I cam jumping on the eating clean band wagon and not looking back a garbage food! - Yep that's about it! I wanted to change the title because I've started the new phase of my life. I'm not longer "getting started" this time, I am fully on my way!

My Goals:
My long term goal was to lose 52 pounds. I only have 10 left! All total I have lost 72 pounds! Yea me!
Short term goals more strength training and make sure to get adequate protein and drink my water!
My Program:
I've been reading "The Eat-Clean Diet" by Tosca Reno. I am following most of the principles and will incorporate more as time goes by.
I will drink 80-100 ounces of water at day.
I gave up soda I can't remember when but it's been a good thing.
I am walking the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in November So right now a lot of walking and increasing my running.
Strength training needs to be more consistent, right now it's 2 days a week and depends on when I do it what I do.
Personal Information:
I am a daughter of the Risen King, wife of 19 years, mom to two teens, college student, and mom to various fur-babies.
I am worth it!
