Hi! My name is Ashley. I am 23 years old, living in Cocoa Beach, FL. I love the beach! I am married to an Airman, he is my bestest friend. I have two dogs and love taking them on walks. I joined spark people because I want to get a network of people to help motivate me. I recently became a member of overeaters anonymous and am learning a new way to live. I am living one day at a time, making small goals for myself to ultimately be free from obsessing about food, weight, and low self esteem.

My Goals:
Short Term Goals:
-work on getting up early in the A.M. so I can go workout.
-90 meetings in 90 days starting 5/24/09.
-eating a hypoglycemic diet so I don't crash a few hours after I eat.

-weigh 148.
I'm gonna decide my rewards when I get there.... I change my mind too much.

Long term goal:
-be able to run without pain in my knees
-weigh 125.


My Program:
-Going to meetings
-food sponsor
-step sponsor
-baby steps
-one day at a time
-be honest
-Right now I am doing a hypoglycemic diet, it consists of high fiber high protein and getting the right combination of fruit, veggies, meat, diary, etc in each meal. It's working so far!



Personal Information:
My name is Ashley. I work full time, will be enrolled in school next month, live with my husband who is in the AF and have two dogs. I am pretty busy, but committed to living a healthy happier life.

    Welcome to the emotional eaters team. You will get a lot of support, advice and encouragement here. Post us often. We will listen and help pick you up when you mess up and pat you on the back when you succeed. A valuable tool is the nutrition tracker. You will find it under the my tools tab. It will show your calories, fat, carbs and protein. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and get 30 grams of fiber with the water a day. Exercise 30 min. a day. Spark mail me if you need any help.
