I have spent my life in a yo-yo of mostly gaining and losing weight. Even as a child I had a terrible body image, and so I allowed myself to go from a great looking kid to the fat man I am today, and didn't see the difference until now when I look at pictures from my junior high and high school days. Its time to get real!

Fitness Minutes: 70

My Goals:
Goal 1: Lose 50 pounds
Goal 2: Do physical activity 3-5 times a week
Goal 3: Check in with Sparkpeople 5 times a week, so I can maintain accountability.
Goal 4: Take control of my life. My health effects my mind, my body, my work. It will take time to lose over 130 pounds, but the discipline to get to that goal will change everything in my life.

My Program:
Eliminate soda from my diet.

Start out slow, using cardio gym equipment to get my body use to exertion again. I eventually want to be comfortable doing the P90x program.

I am going to eat less calories, obviously; but I am going to stretch out my meals throughout the day. I usually only eat one or two meals a day, but they are enormous. I know the benefits of eating throughout the day. Its just time to do it.

Other Information:
I love to read, to write, to play video games, and watch movies. I love eating out at restaurants. Stephen King is one of my favorite authors. I make pizza for a living, which doesn't help my fitness goals, especially when I work 60-70 hours a week, but its time to stop the excuses.
