Trying to find my balance
I'm starting on a new journey for 2018.
I'm starting on a new journey for 2018.
Member Since:
5/12/2006
Fitness Minutes:
34,596
My Goals:
*Better chronic pain management
*Goal weight between 135 and 140
*365 Miles in 365 Days 2018
*Sub 9min Mile
*sub 30min 5k
*sub 1h 10k
*sub 2:40:00 Half Marathon
*Increased flexibilty
*Away from the wall Headstand, Forearmstand, Handstand
My Program:
I have just started following a Ketogenic way of eating, hoping it'll be more anti-inflammatory to help with the chronic pain I now deal with.
I have a very active job. Teaching Yoga/Aerial Yoga/Aerial Lyra 5 days a week. I'm always trying to get stronger for my aerial arts.
I'm also a Running addict, lol. 4 or 5 days a week when the weather is good and my pain levels are low (hoping they'll stay low with a new treatment)
Personal Information:
I am 31 and I have struggled with my weight and body acceptance since I was 15, my highest weight was 200 lbs. Over the years I've lost some here and there but I always gain it back and more.
As I've gotten older my goals have shifted from being mostly driven by the number on the scale to feeling good and loving my body. It's been a hell of a journey, but worth it for the lessons learned
Other Information:

Thanks for your comment on my "Road Bike Crash" blog. Considering that I hit the side of the 4Runner really hard, my injuries were minimal. My helmet is toast!
I filed a police report. This is getting interesting.
Thanks, Bruce
