Hey! Opal here. I joined SP in 2009 because I noticed I was gaining a lot of weight and wanted to halt it in its tracks + reverse the process. I was in a bit of denial too, so I gave the main reason for joining as to work on my mental health. Of course, my bad state of mind was the real reason I was overeating anyway, so working on both problems was the only sensible thing to do! Have recently regained 5lbs so I am now 11lbs away from goal.... But I am making a new plan to get there this year and intend to make it one that will surely work :) SPEED -completed Bristol half marathon 2010 STRENGTH most consecutive pushups - )began on 12) 110 most consecutive sit ups - (began on 100) 150 most consecutive triceps dips - (began on 15) 60 SPIRIT -learnt to speak to strangers (and compliment them on their shoes!) without panicking -joined a running club -got my own place!
