I started spark in 2007. I lost SEVENTY pounds in 8+ months. That was an incredible experience which has changed my life for the better. I haven't looked and felt that great since high school.

I would like to thank my support group for everything they have done. My friends and family and this website.

I have gained 45 pounds back over the last four years. My father and brother both passed away during that time and I started emotionally eating to deal with the losses. I know it was wrong but I didn't know any other ways to cope. I'm starting to move on from all the emotional pain of losing them and the emotional eating has gotten under control. I started back up January 2016 and have lost around 7 pounds. I know I can reach my goal weight of 2007 with hard work and determination. This isn't a diet this is a lifestyle change!!

This website has brought me together with great, inspirational people who are looking for the same things as me. The resources this site provides are excellent and its amazing that the site is free of cost.

I have started tracking foods and exercising more and the results have been good. I know what I have to do to get in shape and lose the extra weight. I just need to put in the time and effort.

If anyone needs support or wants to make a new friend then leave me a sparkmail. Supporting one another makes anything we try to accomplish a little easier. I'm a good listener and can help support you in any way necessary.

    On my treadmill, I normally get around 25-30 min

    I try to get on my treadmill at least three times, a week..... I just bought/started using the kettlebells a couple weeks ago. ( heard they were better for you then dumbbells)....right now I just use them a couple min. Before I walk..... Probably need to start using them more though(lol) emoticon emoticon

    doing good,... don't go to the gym (because I have no way of getting ). But there's the next best thing a treadmill, and a set of kettlebell's in my living room (lol) emoticon
