I have been heavy all my life. I look back at pictures when I was a child and see chubby cheeks and chunky legs. It was supposed to be cute then, it's not now! I'm tired of it, again. August 31, 2002 I decided to do something about it. Over the next 4 years, I worked out and followed whatever diet was to my liking at the time, from South Beach to Woman's World diets featured weekly. I lost half of myself and eventually weighed 165lbs, fitting into size 8 clothes. I stayed at that weight 3 days before I let people talk me out of the things I'd accomplished. My boyfriend didn't say anything positive, my patients told me I looked better when I was heavy, and my friends didn't want to go out because I wasn't eating like we had in the past, so it wasn't any "fun". Over the next year and a half, I packed 165 pounds back on to end up right back where I started. I learned a lot in the whole process, like I know what I can do, and now I've finally come to the realization that I need to do this for matter what other people say to or about me. I'm ready to go again! And this time, no one is going to convince me that I need to be FAT again!!

Walking 1 mile four to five times a week. (My dogs love it and they keep me motivated since they won't let me not walk!!)
