Doing the Dukan Diet and Loving it!

Losing weight has been totally life-changing for me.

Leaving the fitness aspect to one side for the moment and focussing on the visual -

* I can now wear I never dreamed I could wear.
* I can wear fitted and brightly coloured
* I don't mind looking in a full length mirror - even naked
* I don't mind having my photo taken

From a health point of view my health/fitness is just phenomenal.

I am enjoying eating healthily and exercising several times a week. My bloods have stayed stable throughout and are perfect for my age.

From a purely confidence point of view there is nothing better than being slim and fit

I am what I am
I am my own special creation
so come take a look
give me the hook
or the ovation
It's my world that I want to have a little pride in.
My world and it's not a place I have to hide in
Life's not worth a damn
till you can say
I am what I am

I am what I am
I don't want praise, I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
some think it's noise
I think it's pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle
Your life is a sham till you can shout out
I am what I am

I am what I am
And what I am
Needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the ace
sometimes the deuces
It's one life and there's no return and no deposit
one life so its time to open up your closet
life's not worth a damn 'til you can shout out
I am what I am

I am what I am
and what i am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
sometimes the ace
some times the deuces
It's one life and theres no return and no deposit
one life so its time to open up your closet
life's not worth a damn
till you can shout out
I am what I am

Hi. Have lost a lot of weight already and was struggling to get to goal. Joined Spark People and discovered that I wasn't eating enough.

Have added a lot of cardio exercise and my weight loss had come to a full halt.

Increasing my calorie intake to 1400 per day has worked and the loss has restarted.

Will cope with 1-2lbs a week loss - if there is 3lbs then that will be just fine too!
