Introduction Text I'm a 41 year old chunkamunk. I've struggled with my weight since I had my daughter. She is 22 years old now, and I'm at my largest. I suffer with a myriad of health problems due to my weight. Diabetes, PCOS, Thyroid problems, anxiety and depression, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and acid reflux. Food is killing me. You better stand tall when they're calling you out. Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down. - Bon jovi

1. Be able to WALK through a store. 2. Be able to purchase an outfit from a non specialty size store. 3. Be able to wear something pretty, and feel pretty in it.

1. Give up sugary drinks. 2. Stop eating fast food everyday. 3. Start moving my body more. 4. Start being kind to myself. 5. Stop making excuses.

My name is Melissa. I hail from the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia.

I love to cook. I love to design graphics. I'm currently teaching myself how to decorate cakes. I really love doing anything artsy. I'm engaged to a wonderful man and I have a beautiful daughter. They are the light of my life. Without them, I'd be lost.
