Like everybody, I've had my ups and downs. I'm creeping up again and want to stop the insanity! I've been as low as 155 and as high as 221. I know that food has been a crutch for some pretty miserable times in my life (221 was right prior to my divorce... go figure). 155 was college, I was smoking hot, had my whole life in front of me and not a care in the world... what's not to be happy about?

Life happens... fast forward to now....

The notion of losing weight is always in the back of my head but, at times, not such a priority. I've found the man of my dreams, have a great family and am pretty much loving life. I suppose I've been a somewhat complacent here lately about my health and fitness and there really is no excuse!

So here I am..... I've started this page to hold myself accountable. I love charts and graphs and seeing everything on paper is quite the eye-opener! I would love to meet some local people who are endeavoring on this journey! Drop me a line....

LT GOALS:

I want to be 160 lbs and healthy!

How I'm going to get there:
Lose 50 pounds.
Get my cholesterol below 200 within one year
Get my BMI to normal: 24.9 within one year
Get my body fat to under 30% within one year

Why?
Improve overall health now
I want to look Good Naked!!!!!
Prevent long term problems.... i don't want to be a burden on my family later in life.
I want to be active when I'm retired.

ST GOALS:
1. Close the cabinet doors
2. Drink 8 8oz glasses of water daily.
3. Exercise three times a week to start
4. Journal daily & Daily Props

MT Goal:
Weigh 190 by July 2013

Be able to show off the smoking HOT body hiding under this layer of fat!

170....take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water park

My Program:
-Drink my H20, watch my fat, carbs and cals.
-Track everything
-Journal Daily
-at least 90 minutes of exercise weekly.

I'm a mom, wife, friend, sister, daughter, ICU nurse, gardener, knitter, and various other things depending on the day. Life is to short to be unhealthy!

    HI,
    I have a question for ya! I love the idea of getting tats on my back BUT!!! I want to be able to SEE them!!! Do you ever think about that stuff? I have a pic on my page of a what would be black and skin on the inside of my left calf. Here's what's going thru my head about it. I would like to hear what you think if you wouldn't mind. OK. !st: Wearing a dressy dress with or w/o nylons. It's going to show. 2nd: It's going to get wrinkley. Those are the cons. these are the pros. !st: I CAN SEE ALL THE TIME WITHOUT showing too much skin. 2nd: It goes well with the anklet tat I have now. The tail would go to the nose of that gecko. The wrinkley thing is my biggest fear. the showing thing I can deal with. They make stuff for such occasions.

    Please let me know your thoughts I would really appreciate it.
