Introduction Text Hi, I'm Charlie, and I'm taking back my life for the bazillionth time. As professional astrologer I can show others how to find their authentic empowerment, but somehow I don't seem able to follow my own advice. I've started - and failed - more diets and exercise programs than I have had hot dinners. I simply don't want to do it--but I know I have to do it, because I'm not getting any younger! Bless me, Spark People, for I have sinned, apparently it's been 748 days since my last confession... oh, dear.

Obviously my goal is to lose weight, but this is more for the health issues that come with obesity rather than any vanity or narcissism. Do I hope to look better at the end of it? You betcha! Mostly though, I just want to put the spark back in my life.

At the moment, I'm just making sure my food is nutritionally complete. I am taking a few supplements (calcium for my bones, CLA to get me off the Advair, Vitamin D, etc). I'll work it into a proper 'program' at some point, but I'm not stressing about it. I've learned it is the over-focusing on things that causes me to fail. Now I'm just taking each day as it come.

I enjoy writing and have signed up for NaNoWriMo. I have two articles scheduled for publication in 2013 Llewellyn's annuals. I enjoy pottery and knitting and hope to soon stock my Etsy shop with my wares. I love sharing my happy, but find it hard to ask for help.
