I'm back! It's been a long, but good year and I've mostly maintained my weight loss. But the other day I was talking to a few people about the support I received on this site, and how it was so amazing... so I'm back! I've been doing WW but am stuck right around 199 - 202, and I think its a possiblity that I am not eating enough calories... so I am here to find out!

I am training for a Half Marathon in February, have started boxing for some intense strength training and look forward to seeing the 180's in 2012!

2009 was really rough year for me emotionally, and a lot of people told me that the commitment to run the Marathon, to work on myself and my health would reap benefits beyond the physical aspects of it - and they were right!

In April 2010, I ran the Boston Marathon. It was awesome. And then I proceeded to stop running, eat my face off, and gain a solid 5 lbs including 1.5" in my waist and 2" in my hips. OUCH.

So... starting in August of 2010, I recommitted myself to working out - mostly running and spinning - and began training for my second half marathon.

I finished my second half marathon in October 2010, and am planning on running another in February 2011. My goal for this race is to take 5 - 10 minutes off my best time. (2:40:23)

For as long as I can remember, all I've wanted is to weigh 199 lbs... its like the holy land for me. I haven't seen that number it at least 10 years, and I'm hoping 2010 is the year where I break the 'over 200 streak'.

My highest weight ever was 260lbs (probably around 2002), and I had gone as low as 203 (sometime in 2005)! But with graduate school, and the stresses of work and life I have crept back up beyond where I promised I would go. "I'll never go back over 210... I'll never go back over 215..." and then I'm 220! It was time for a motivation change and that is where Spark came in :)

Thanks, feeling a bit better today. I'm going to try to get in 3 miles tonight, since I missed yesterday. Boxing sounds fun!!! Since having Zoe I requested an indoor trainer for my road bike, going to spin at home for my cross training. I am determined to make Onederland by her first bday June, 2012.

    Good to chat! happy training!

Hey hey! I generally do daily questions and starting this week, mini challenges for the week. So I'll be by to check in on you! ;)

Week 2: This is for those of you who need a little extra motivation this week, in preparation for a holiday week. Join in this little weekly mini challenge! Pick one unhealthy habit you have and aim to go seven days without doing it. You can make a chart and check it off, check in daily on your own blog, check in on my daily blogs, or drop me a note! Somehow make it known though and constantly remind yourself that this is a one week goal to get yourself up and running.

You're alive!!! I am ridiculously excited to see you. I think an update blog is needed lady. I'm just finishing up my masters and wanting to bop myself over the head as a result, but I'm almost done! Just trying to stay healthy. If you need a little extra motivation, join the holiday anti-gain train. Check my blogs for details!
