I've been on this journey for 488 days.

I will continue on this journey for the rest of my life.

I started this journey at 310 lbs.

I currently weigh 223 lbs, as of 11/14/18.

I have lost a total of 87 lbs.

I'm on a four year plan.
Year one 17-18: Lose as much as possible. (I lost 80 pounds) Done.
Year two 18-19: Lose 50 more pounds (6.2 lbs. lost so far)
Year three 19-20: Lose 25 more pounds
Year four 20-21: Learn the art of maintenance

I do not follow a specific regiment. I follow rules instead. I do break them occasionally. Here are my rules:

1. Track all food.
2. Drink 80 oz of water or more daily.
3. Eliminate all junk food.
4. Eat within an 8 hour time frame (10am-6pm)
5. Walk everyday. Current step goal: 12,000 steps or more.
6. Exercise for a minimum of 60 minutes a day.
7. Weights 5 days a week, 15 min.
8. Weigh weekly, measure monthly.

Goal #2... Waltzing into Onederland... weigh 199 on New Years Eve 2018
Goal #3... Obese to overweight... weigh 185 by June 2019
Goal #4... Goal weight!... weigh 154 by New Years Eve 2019

Celebrate ALL your successes. I will list all NSVs from 8/25/18 on out here.
8/28/18: Good doctor's visit. He is impressed I've lost 27% of my body weight since last year.
9/1/18: Had to throw out all 24s, 20s pants. Replaced with 16s and one 18. Keeping the larger tops for now.
9/12/18: One of my former students said (word for word): "Ms.you got really skinny. Like REALLY skinny."
9/25/18: Bought a new pair of workout pants because old ones are too big. XL from Target.
