My ultimate goal in life is to live a life well-pleasing to Christ, and I know that begins with a balanced lifestyle, (spirit, mind, body). So, my desire is to live a balanced life, one that encourages the positive growth and health of my spirit, mind, and body.

In order to be productive, I must be healthy.

In order to be a blessing, I must be healthy.

In order to be a positive example, I must make healhty choices.

In order to be pleasing to God, I must respect the temple that He has given me and submit it for His glory.

Personal Information:
I am a recent college grad who is beginning a new life and hoping to develop into the total person that I was predestined to be!

When I was younger, I wasn't athletic, didn't play sports, and I was a serious overeater. When I was 15, I limited my portions, joined b-ball leagues, and lost over 70 lbs, which was probably too much. I have not kept all of the weight off, (which is probably good), but I try to make health conscious choices and to concentrate on living right, as best as I know how. When my attitude is positive and I really take time to love myself and do better, everything, including my weight is balanced, and the scale and measurements lose their importance in my life.

Even though I'm not seriously trying to lose weight now, I would like to firm up ( by lifting weights), take care of my skin (through proper nutrition, vitamin and water intake), prevent colds (by getting enough rest and not consuming excessive sugars that lower my immune system).

Our Greatest Fear
—Marianne Williamson

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

-Marianne Williamson
