    Thanks for stopping by my spark page and reading my blog.
    To answer your question regarding my gym. First, my gym is no longer a 24hr gym but the hours are still 4:30am till 10pm. I have always had equipment at home to work out if I wanted. I have pretty much have always belong to a gym within 7 miles. My gym now is only 2 miles away and I pretty much work out alone. I go to a gym @5am (5 times a week) because I can go there and I have variety, my family is at home(still sleeping) and I feel I'm not taking time away from them plus there are no distractions as when I workout at home. I get my workout done early in the morning, it's out of the way and I truly am energized, good mood and ready to take on the day. I have met many friends at the gym and we are all there to get healthy, there's encouragement, support and friendships. I have been a member at this gym since 1993 and my membership is only $99 a year. That's why I don't let it expired and my employer encourages to get involve in fitness and therefore pay up to $240 a year.
    Exercising for me is a big stress reliever. I do some exercises at home such as abs. We walked the dog 2-3 times a week for an hour. I jogged Tues, Sat & Sun for 60 mins with a girlfriend.
    I believe that having a gym membership HELPS me to staying balanced in my life. Desire, Motivation, Consistency are key straits that I have and know that keeps me atop of my health. I hope I have anwsered your question. I wish you much SUCCESS in your journey. Just one thing, set small goals for yourself and don't over do it, otherwise you will burn out.
    Spark People has such tremendous tools, information and all we have to do is APPLY it do our daily lives.

    Keep your chin up and I as well and we'll work on it a few steps everyday so that we can enjoy ourselves as much as we enjoy those around us.
