I have been following the Spark program for several years now. It has helped me to shed 40 pounds, lower my blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose numbers, and educated me on good nutritional choices and encouraged me to keep exercising. I have hit plateaus that lasted more than a year. But I joined challenges and they helped me to make small changes and encouraged me to be more consistent. I have been following the Spark program for several years now. It has helped me to shed 40 pounds, lower my blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose numbers, and educated me on good nutritional choices and encouraged me to keep exercising. I have hit plateaus that lasted more than a year. But I joined challenges and they helped me to make small changes and encouraged me to be more consistent. Spark coach is giving me even more information and inspiration. I have not reached my goal yet, but I know that I will get there. I recently realized that losing just 8 more pounds will move me from the obese to the overweight BMI category. That is my new goal.

My Program:
From April to October I enjoy water aerobics classes - usually 4 days a week. Our pool is heated, so I can use it most days, even in the winter. During the cooler months I take long walks outdoors and use the exercise equipment in our fitness center.
Personal Information:
I am from upstate NY but now live in a "55+" community in Florida. My husband and I do a lot of traveling, including going on cruises and going for long rides on our Gold Wing trike. I enjoy making stained glass projects. I enjoy quilting and several other needlework arts.
