    I don't follow a meal plan per se, but I've upped my fruits, vegies and whole grains. My biggest constant is my breakfast- I cook steel cut oatmeal, making about 20 servings at a pop, and chop up apples and apricots or pears and cranberries, or whatever fruit- add in walnuts or macadameias or pecans, or some nut, add in a ton of cinnamon & nutmeg and flax- I really do that pot proud. Since steel cut takes about 30-40 minutes to cook, I do large quantities... Having a fantastic go to breakfast has been one of the most critical things I've done for me. I am big on making huge pots of beans & rice or whatever, too. Small containers in the freezer & fridge of cheap excellant food stops me from the mindless quickie food. I only buy fast food about once every three months now. Hella good.
