Hello, I am new (updated not so new now!) to the site but not new to trying to loose weight. My top weight was 423# on 08/2003. I lost about 170# and still need to go down. It is An adventure!

My Goals:

I set interim goals lotted out in 25# increaments. I do a little something for myself when I reach and maintain that goal for a week. I buy something for just myself when I reached #100 goals.

My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals.

I got serious about my weight loss in 2003. It took almost 2 years to get below #300 mark. I do my weight loss with diet and exercise. This program was low fat & high fruit and veggie diet that I set myself.

Then I meet a lady who is now my wife. I then entered two years of just maintaining less than #300.
After we were married and settled down I started getting serious again (August 2007) but with a different diet plan that I developed because of my concern of blood sugar levels. I knew I had to minimise my carbs in my diet. I started with this at #295. Check out my ticker to see where I am now!
Update*** I had a Heart Attack on 04/20/2009 so now I am also a HEART Attack survivor.

I am 45 years old and I have wonderful wife and a 7 (Now 8) year old son . He is just the biggest joy of my life. I plan on adopting him as soon as the courts will allow. UPDATE** Adopted on 12/17/2008!
I also have a 4 year old Black Lab dog. Who always has a smile on his face and two much tail to wagg around.

Update***4/8/2014 Well do to my heart attack and plantar facities and now DDD in my neck and back it is so hard to exercise that I have gained back about 100#s and I said if that happened then I would investigate WLS Surgery and that is what I am doing.
