It's time to exercise and eat right and lose weight for ME. No more worrying about what others think.

My husband lost 80 pounds by drinking diet soda instead of regular soda, and walking ten minutes a day. That won't work for me; I've tried simple changes with no results. It's time for a lifestyle change so I can look and feel the way I want to, and know that I am healthy.

If anyone is wondering, I am not counting my horseback riding as Cardio right now. Riding is really my release from pressure, so I don't want to attach it to exercise right now, or I'll start feeling forced to do it. Plus it's winter, and riding isn't exactly going to happen regularly until I can afford an indoor arena or we move somewhere warmer!

My Goals:
Work out at least 30 minutes 5 days a week

Watch labels for an accurate knowledge of what I'm actually eating

Eat between 1400 and 1750 calories per day, and burn 1000 calories each week through exercise.

My Program:
I'm walking indoors on on a treadmill most days, and using some exercise DVDs in addition. I'm starting out with Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away The Pounds" and "Walk at Home" DVD's as well as Jillian Michaels' "30-Day Shred" and " The Biggest Loser Yoga", so we'll see how it goes!
