My Goals:
I want to lose 30 pounds, train my body so I can compete in a century cycling race, have energy, and stable upbeat moods.

My Program:
 I am tracking my food and fitness. I am building up my endurance on cycling by continually riding and pushing myself farther in a healthy plan.I am cutting processed foods and sugar from my diet. The only sugar will come from fresh fruits.

And remember, we're all in this together. We help one another to get to the goal of a healthy weight and lifestyle. Together WE CAN DO IT!! emoticon emoticon

    I've found that by joining a few teams of people with similar interests--location, age, amount to lose, hobbies, etc.--the team members provide great support for me and have become good friends. It also allows me to reach out and support them, which reinforces my own successes. You're right in thinking that SP is about the PEOPLE. I truly believe that is the strength of this site. And you're also right in knowing that your girls are excellent motivation for getting healthy. You are their role model, and how wonderful that you will model healthy living for them so they can avoid weight and health problems later as adults. We all have stressors in our lives. It sounds like you're having your share of big ones lately. But I'm sure you can maintain the focus where it belongs: on developing that healthy lifestyle for yourself and your children. You are definitely worth it and so are they. So hang in there. You can do it! emoticon emoticon
