Find an internist who understands obesity and have a good physical. I go to an endocrinologist who treats mostly old people and he put me on Metformin, a weekly shot of Bydureon, acarbose with meals, Progesterone, Baclofen (muscle relaxant so I sleep better without leg cramps) and Armour Thyroid that I take at night, as he says no one over 30 has the thyroid function we did at 20. My blood sugar was 115 and another doctor told me I didn't need Metformin, but this doctor said 115 was close enough to 126 which is diabetes and now my blood sugar is 100 and I stopped cravings and night time eating. I'm down 40#. The other doctor told me "At your AGE you can't expect to lose weight now." 769 days ago
