My new goal is to return to the 390's (which is the weight i was when i met my wife) and to walk/work out at least 30 mins every day. I have been sedentary for about three years during which i was caring for my now nearly three year old daughter and my extremely ill and elderly mother, who lived with us the last three years of her life finally losing a battle with cancer at the end of April 2017. While caring for my mother and infant my own health took a back seat and my binge eating disorder took over.

My History:
In January of 2007 I started this journey at 450 pounds.
From January to September 2007 I lost 50 pounds.
September 2007- March 2010 included loss of family members and my divorce. I maintained my loss and sat in a seemingly unbreakable plateau of the 390's until an amazing woman came into my life and inspired my change in the way I see the world. She turned all of my "cant's" into "can & will's" and i'm eternally grateful to all she helped me find within myself!

In April of 2011 I had virtual lapband hynosis and discovered a book on nutrition for pcos. the combination plus daily work outs and the support of my partner and friends resulted in 50 pounds of weight loss by August of 2011 for a total of 100 pounds gone..

Then i needed knee surgery and sunk into a bit of a depression and the weight started going back up and up and up. Then i found Take Shape for Life and my lowest recorded weight was 306 pounds. I was laid off from my job in march of 2013 and decided to start my own business. I got married in June of 2013 at 320 pounds. I went off plan for my honeymoon and never really got back on. I struggled with starting my own business and unemployment for three months and stress eating started. By the Time i started a Business Plan Bootcamp at the same time as intensive foster parent training in September of 2013 my PTSD kicked in and my binge eating disorder kinda took over. I have consequently gained back all of what i lost. After a car accident that resulted in hospitalized cellulitus i decided on weight loss surgery. Through therapy i have concluded this is not the right choice for me. I need to do this without surgery for my own sanity. I now have a healthy and happy 3 month old baby and she needs and deserves a healthy, happy and fit mommy.
