About me: I am 36 years old and live in Wellington, New Zealand. I am originally from Washington State, USA and moved to N.Z. in 2001. I have lived here for most of that time, except for two years when I was attending University of Hawaii on the island on Oahu.

My weight loss journey: In 2005, I lost 25 pounds in 5 months, in order to fit into my wedding dress. I did WW and worked out 5 times a week to achieve this. The weight pilled on after I moved back to N.Z. and, of course, I became much bigger than before! So yeah, the weight loss (and the marriage) didn't last...

I lost consistently from Oct. 2009-August 2010 but then I travelled around the world and started my post here in the Sollies...weight gain insued but I kept off 22 pounds (10 kilos) from my highest weight.

I'm now a good 10 pounds lighter than before, with a total weight loss of 32 pounds. Now comes the hard part, losing when I'm in the lower weight range.

I get to 140 and then I plateau, big time. But not this time...I've got several weapons at my disposal:
1. P90X, BABY!
2. Jillian Michaels 30 day shred!
3. DIVING!
4. Aerobics classes
5. YOGA

With a diverse range of workouts , I hope to break my plateau for good, get some muscle and be generally awesome.

Ultimate Goals:
-Do a three tank dive day
-Dive Vanutu and Fiji
-WEAR A BIKINI. IN PUBLIC.
-Run a marathon
-Participate in a triathlon
-Do the Coast to Coast (the mother of all killer triathlons...) with a partner.
-Have a BMI of 23
-Weigh 130 or under
-Look and feel awesome everyday!



My Program:
For Jan. 2015
Monday - Jillian 90 day, Barre 2x and walking 9 kms
Tuesday-Jillian 90 day, Barre x1, walking 9 kms
Wednesday-Light cardio (Jillian), rest day
-Thursday- Jillian, Barre x1, walking 9 kns
-Friday-Jillian, morning Barre, 9 kms
-Saturday: Jillian, Barre x2, Walking 9 kms
Sunday- Rest. Probably much needed rest.

    Hey, I see you are doing Jillian's 90 day shred, as someone really new to videos I plan to buy one of the Biggest Loser vids...any suggestions on which one? My husband will prob do it with me, we did their workouts when we had on demand & "loved' them.

    Cheese is not the boss of you! Brewer's yeast aka nutritional yeast mixed with water and warmed up makes a good stand in for cheese sauce on veggies...PLUS you get 10g protein for two tablespoons. If you like the sharp nutty flavor it is a great substitution. I usually sprinkle the flakes on popcorn...with butter. *sigh*
