...To being the healthiest person possible.

I am a kidney-transplant recipient, and most of my life, I really haven't been able to keep up with everyone, or have the stamina. I still have to watch it, and have my rest days, but it's a lot better.

I've been working on eating healthfully, and it really is great! I've also worked on being more active.

My Goals:
Short Term Goal:
190 lbs. by end of 2015.

Medium Goal: Being Overweight! (I am Obese currently). 29 BMI by Summer, 2016.

Long-Term Goal: 23-24 BMI by July 1, 2017.

Overall goal is to be fit, be a healthy weight, be at a healthy BMI.

I want to be able to participate in any healthy activity I endeavor to. To hike in beautiful country for hours and hours.

My Program:
Healthful eating. Think before eating. Eat consciously.

Hike a trail in a beautiful natural place 2x per week; work out on Wii 3x per week; Yoga 2x per week; strength train 3x per week.

Personal Information:
I am living in and am from the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, in the South Bay. I love to hike, travel, read, and love movies and tv. I try to learn something new every day. I have a Wii, and work out with my Wii everyday. Love history and science. I also quilt.

Other Information:
As a kidney-transplant patient who has been ill off-and-on for most my life, I find the best way to go is to be patient with myself. I keep my goals in mind. Since I've committed to a healthy life for good, I don't have to be in a hurry. Even if the weight comes off slowly, I know by exercising every day and eating healthy, I'll get there.
