I'm 31 and close to my highest weight. I'm married to my best friend who loves me for what I am:) I need a lifestyle change. I'm a fun outgoing person that loves to make everyone laugh. I need to keep myself motivated and positive and push myself towards a healthy lifestyle!

During this journey I will post a short weekly update here (thanks Audra for the idea). It will be raw and honest and all cards will be out on the table. I'm ready for this. For the first time in my life I understand it will take time and patience. I understand it won't be easy and I will fail at times. I also understand that I want this more than ever!

Started Weight Watchers Online
Feeling confident I can do this! Really excited to be a captain for the Bronze Warriors during the BLC challenge starting 1/9/12. Motivating myself to motivate others is the key.

-4 lbs! Good to see considering I was a little worried. I worked out for 1 & 1/2 hours this morning before work! It felt amazing! That's the motivation I've been needing... one really great workout to give me the taste for more. I'm going to fine tune my diet a little farther this week and increase my excercise! BLC20 BRING IT!

+0.2 lbs for today's weigh in. I must say this is a huge dissapointment. I've worked out 1 & 1/2 hours everyday! I didn't take a day off and I didn't eat outside of my points range. I will continue to work out and increase my calorie intake a bit. Still in it to win it.

-3lbs and that's fine by me! I'm getting stronger in the gym. I'm noticing small improvements and am pushing myself farther. Working out has become a habit and I'm fine with that too! Had a bit of a scare with my husband's heart and now being healthy is more important than ever!

2/7/12 I was sick last week and now that I feel better I want to eat everything made by man smothered in ranch dressing! I need to pull myself out of this pit. I will conquer this setback.

I'm diving into SP head first in hopes to get just as much out as I put in!
I'm joining WW and will count calories.
The plan to start is to work out at least 4 times a week in the gym with friends.

    Keep up the good work. You can do it!!! I have lost 100 lbs over the last 3 years. 50 pounds the first year 40 the next, 10 last year and still have about 20 more to go. I tell you what I did it the right way, exercise, eat right 90% of the time and cheat here and there so I didn't feel guilty because I knew I was going to and worked out 5 days a week. It was slow but now I look back and the time flew by, also you keep it off better. I got married, moved twice and it was a lot at one time so for 3 months I didn't do anything and only gained 5 lbs. Don't get discouraged. If you fall off just jump right back on. You are successful no matter what the scale says if you are working out and feeling better and your health is getting better! Good Luck!
