    Welcome!

This is a really great community with lots of helpful and supportive members.
Even getting a little exercise on your lunch would be something. Also, maybe getting up from your desk every hour or so to stretch and move around will help. Small steps can lead to big changes.
Being active on your Spark Teams will help keep you accountable and motivated.

Best of luck to you! You can do this!

Welcome to sparkpeople so glad you have joined us

Consider putting up a little about yourself on your sparkpage so those that come to it can get to know you a little

Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined as that is where you will be encouraged and motivated

You have a lot of time 'sitting'. I would suggest that possibly during your breaks at work and your lunch to walk even just 10 minutes each time.

For eating I would start on the sugar addiction = this is one that I have had to take control of. Set small goals. Start by tracking your food for 7 days not being to concerned about what you are eating or how much just track it all. Then go back over it at the end of 7 days and look at what you might be able to change. Maybe there are snacks that are full of sugar, or soda pop, so by making a small change of one maybe two things record again for 7 days and once again take time to look at what you have eaten. I have been doing this now and have found I have been successful.

At my highest I was 316 and I am now 277 so it works = and I must say that during that time I was not really exercising much. I am only now starting on the walking part of my program.

Email me if you want to discuss this more.
