Its JUNE!!! Summer time FUN!!

This year I WANT to do things I used to do before the car accident, before my weight way more than doubled!!

Go into the ocean more than once
Kayaking at the marsh
Walk the pathway to Bug Light!!! It'll be a 3 mile walk. For some that's easy, but I have numerous feet issues. It'll be fun though to make it!!

I belong to various challenges of which help me to be who I'm today!! The 5% Challenge (On the Spirited Under team as the Motivational Leader) and also on the Biggest Loser Team(On the Invincible Indigo team).

My Goals:


I do solemnly pledge:
that I will do my best to eat healthy and within my calorie range,
that I will exercise to the best of my ability,
that I will watch my portions and avoid mindless eating,
that I will avoid or limit unhealthy foods,
that I will try to get enough sleep,
that I will stretch myself out of my comfort zone,
that I will always try to make healthy choices even when stressed,
that if I slip, I will get back on track with the very next opportunity,
that I will keep a CAN DO attitude, or ask for Help,
and that I will support my fellow pack mates

Because I am an UnderDawg
And every UnderDawg has the heart of a hero.

From the 5% Spring Challenge I'm answering:
Today's assignment is to list 10 reasons you want to lose weigh

My Program:
I'm aiming for 5 freggies a day (FRuit/vEGGIES)
6-8 glasses of water
60 ish minutes of exercise a day
ENJOY Summah!! By relaxing the arts, visiting local area theaters, live bands and anything else that comes to mind

Personal Information:
I live in Maine and LOVE this time of year. Awww and my great grandson. He's a little pistol at 11 months old. To cute!

I'm also OWNED, yes I'm OWNED. Lol by Izzy a 7 Yr old tiger cat. Dogs are owned, cats OWN US. She's a very caring sweet little thing.

Other Information:
I started out at 288 lbs and now at 169. Was in a power chair 97% of the time, went to Colorado where thru no surgery was done, my spine was better. Its back to ick, but during that time I was able to strengthen my core muscles.

    I appreciate your blog visit. I hope you will have a move your body Monday. I'm sorry to hear about your past injuries that have carried pain into your present life. Chronic pain is tough to deal with. The bone disease is avascular necrosis where the bones were dying. Yes, it is indeed excruciatingly painful. Right now, thank God, it is in remission but I have two artificial knees and both shoulders repaired. I still make the effort daily to keep my body moving.

    Hi Diane....I love my beachwalks....I always do at least 4 miles but usually more. Due to my spinal cord impingement 10+ years ago, my balance can be nonexistent and I fall over nothing and break things...as in bones. So, I use walking poles to help. But, I never, ever swim in the Gulf....pretty to look at BUT not a fan of whatever lurks beneath!!
