After dying April 22, 2005 from cardiac arrest and being shocked twice by co-workers to bring me back....I feel I have to do everything I can to keep the new stents in my heart open and my body healthy. I got a second chance for some reason....I have to be healthy long enough to find out why.
For the last couple of years since I fell on the ice, it has been a challenge to exercise. My hip and leg hurt. I kept thinking it would get better. Finally, the end of December 2009, I went to my knee surgeon (double knee replacement in 2002) for a check up. He did x-rays of my hip and it was replaced Jan. 4, 2011. So, less pain when exercising should help my results! Another chance to be healthier!!!
Had the second hip replaced November 1, 2017, so ready to rock and roll!

    Wow, just wow....

That is really powerful stuff. I hadn't gotten to that point, but every time i looked in the mirror i was reminded that i wasn't likely to live to a ripe old age at the rate i was going.

Keep it up, we can still turn this horse around and find the path we were meant for.

Welcome back to life. I was recently visiting family in Nebraska and the flowers bloomed and wilted a few days later...it's so sad to see the flowers all flopped over, but I'm sure most of them will be back again next year! I always learn from my students, that's the fun of being a teacher. Stay warm...if I'm not mistaken, you still have cold wintery weather in your neck of the woods!

I'm glad you're still here with us! What a scary story you have. It's a lesson to all of us to wake up and smell the coffee well before we get to that situation. Keep on keeping on. SD

Good to see that you have joined SP. I've learned through the years to GO SLOW! If you force yourself to lose weight fast, it never stays lost, lol. Just small changes makes the biggest difference! Your on your way, so proud of you!
