I have lot of inspiring "before" pictures that I'd like to hide and forget about. But what I'd really like more is to put them behind me permanently and replace them with some "after" pictures that I can be proud of.
I'm really motivated by people who feel great after achieving their goals. I think all the sacrifices, time, and sweat will be nothing compared to how happy and proud I'll feel when I reach my goal. I'm constantly reminding myself not to be tempted by the immediate gratifications, to instead see the big picture and go for the long term goal. Its a daily battle and a slow process but I'll get there.

My Goals:
*Fit into my old work pants and jeans. I don't want to keep buying clothes as I go up in size.
*I'd like to finish a 5K in under 30 minutes. (Current personal best is 32:04) I've been putting in non-race training and other longer distance races.
*I'd like to tone up my arms and core.
*My long term goal is not to quit!

My Program:
I'm running about 4 days a week. I love the on-demand workout videos on TV too.
I workout at the gym and go running outside with my best SP bud Tiffani. I like running, group exercise classes and strength training.

My name is Kelly. I'm originally from Dearborn, MI and worked in Detroit. I moved to NW Indiana a few years ago and got married in 2009. I'm living the dream with my husband, Tommy, our St. Bernard, Penny and our triplet boys, Alex, Danny, and Luke.
