I am here to loose weight and get healthy. For a long time now I have let myself just plod along. I was so focused on school and friends and family that I forgot to take care of myself. Now I am out in the real world. I want to go back to school but because of decisions I made I have to wait. So now I am getting my debts settled and my life back on track.

I have tried many many times to loose weight. However, I was always derailed. I didnt pay close attention to what I was doing. I would work out and then eat a huge meal. I would snack on candy all night long.

No longer! I have a boyfriend I love and who loves me. I have lots of wonderful friends. My family is supportive and caring. Now I have to focus on getting me healthy.

I have recently decided that I want to be able to run a 10 minute mile. This is kinda crazy for me since I am so not a runner. But maybe thats why I want to do it. And I am also doing the Hundred Push up challenge. I use Jillian Michaels DVDs (right now 30 Day Shred and No More Trouble Zones) and Wii Fit Plus.

I am tracking what I eat
I am working out at least three times a week
I am doing yoga
I am paying off my debt

Personal Information:
I am originally from Texas but have lived in many places. I went to high school and college in Indiana. I then went on to get my masters in Ohio. I currently work on antiviral vaccines in a research lab.

Other Information:
I love reading. I read almost anything...fantasy, sci fi, romance, mystery, thriller, horror, classics....pretty much anything except non fiction.
