I am a people person and survivor. However, I don't take the credit for being one of the survivors of the fittest. The Lord delivered me from a life of destruction. I give him all the honor and glory. I praise his holy name. I enjoy all kinds of music: Inspirational, jazz, rhythm & blues, and easy listening. The rap music doesn't fall in the music category I grew up on with singers from Motown, Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross. The rap music is to violent and to many young people are dying for the wrong causes, drugs, gangs and street life. Rap is spoken word about a way of life with music. Music inspires you or makes you feel sad or good. Rap encourages violence. I don't like what it's message is doing to today's youth. We have enough violence in the world. I ask the Lord to heal the land.

My Goals:
My goal is to loose some weight, diet and eat healthy. Especially since I have high bllod pressure and I am older now. Also, Me and my fiance are planning on getting married soon.

My Program:
I am planning on walking for exercise. Since I love yogart and fruit I will be able to include this in my diet.

    Hello all my Spark Friends,
    I injured my knee and back and it has been hard to exercise. However, after my knee surgery I am going to get back in shape. I gained some weight this time but I am looking on the positive side of life. It just take some will power to eat smaller portions. I am so tired of chicken. Last week I ate chicken for a week. I was like the guy on Forrest Gump talking about shrimp. I had baked, boiled, chicken and vegetables, chicken and rice, chicken and beans, chicken for breakfast and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The next time I go to the grocery store I will have to put some variety in my meals. Do anyone have any suggestions? emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Hello Everybody,

    I have not been on the website for awhile. I miss everyone and hope you guys are eating the proper way. I am still eating my yogurt, bananas and veggies.

    If you get off your diet for any reason, Do not give up. Life is like a rollercoaster with all the ups and downs. Love to all.

    Keep at it everything will come together. I commend you for leaving the pork chops alone. I too loved fried pork chops, but I also realize its not the healthiest way to eat them so I chose to leave them alone all together. Hey I figure if I'm gonna eat something I might as well eat it the way I enjoy it most or not at all.....So continued success & weight loss to you emoticon emoticon

    Hello Everybody,
    I know it have been a long time. I am still eating the right foods and walking for exercise. It is hard to turn down the soul food with the fried chicken, potato salads, and peach cobbler. I have practice some good will power. I have been eating a lot of garden fresh salad, yogurt, fruit, and nuts. Continue eating the right foods and eat healthy. Also, drink a lot of water because it quenches the thirst better than any other drink in the world, helps eliminate waste from your body, and keeps you cool. Love to all. emoticon
