I'm ready to lose some serious weight. I've always been thin. Never had to worry about what I ate/drank or when I ate/drank or if I exercised so I developed a bunch of bad habits like drinking tons of diet coke and coffee, not drinking hardly any water or eating fruits and vegetables and eating alot of refined carbos and chocolate.

When I had my first child I returned to my pre-baby weight. Then, within the span of 6 years, I had a miscarriage, the birth of another baby, quit work to be a stay at home mom, moved across state for my husband's job, and then lost both my parents to heart attack and breast cancer.
I am a christian (growing stronger in my faith after a couple of shaky years) who is now 130lbs.+/- overweight and really have no idea how to lose all that weight I have gained.

I am 42 years old, married with 2 elementary age children. I am looking forward to making great supportive friends who want to lose weight.

So far I have signed up for Spark-people but haven't really put any action to the plan. I would appreciate any and all suggestions to help get me going physically, mentally, &/or emotionally.

P.S. My computer is on the fritz so I have limited availability with another computer so I will be posting as much as I can as time and access permits.
So happy to have found this place and look forward to getting to know a great group of people!

My Goals:
-SHORT TERM-
-- Get hubby walking too
-- Get kids involved
-- Jump on rebounder
-- Lose 20 lbs by 02/08
-- Create healthy family
breakfasts daily
-- Add Pilates
-- Add strength training
-- Be able to do the splits

-LONG TERM-
-- Walk 60 minutes daily
-- Racquet ball with
daughter
-- Kick boxing with son
-- Marathon - walk
-- Marathon - run



My Program:
- DAILY -
- Walk 30 minutes
- Drink at least 8 glasses
lemon water
- Vitamins
- Yoga with kids @ night
- To bed by 10 pm
