Come and join me on my journey to becoming a healthier, stronger, more confident woman. Although the road is long and bumpy, the lessons I am learning along the way are priceless. The sunsets and sunrises I see on this long trip are what keep me going, but the final destination will be breathtaking.

In the past I've done Weight Watchers and always cheated by skewing the POINTS values. What good was that doing me? None. Other times I would try to just "eyeball" my food and sort of wing it (and obviously, put more food in my body than necessary). Well, that never worked either. ***Again, my success depends on my own honesty and self-discipline.*** I know what I need to do to lose weight. I've read dozens of books and articles. I've even succeeded in the past. I just need to do it with honesty and diligence.

My Goals:
I want to get down to 140 lbs or lower. Every 10 pounds is a huge milestone, so when I get to the 170s I will be so excited! I have been hovering in the 180's now for over 6 months. I started at 230 and I have lost over 40 lbs. Ready to get to the 170's and beyond!!


My Program:
* HONESTY and self-discipline
* 1200-1500 Calories Daily
* Couch to 5k Running Program 3 x Weekly, and Turbo Jam or Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred 2 x Weekly
* Lots of Water (Minimum of 8 glasses daily)
* SparkPeople Daily!!!
