I loved your post on Lovoxyl. It was very inspirational. I have been heavy about 5 years, with my thyroid starting the problem and my eating habits adding to it! I'm on Levoxyl as well but only been taking it a week or so. Thanks for the post, and great job on your progress!!

    Neola,
I do hope you come back to this page to read my comment concerning your question on points.
I have asked myself the same question concerning others on the team wondering how in the world they manage to accure so many points without staying on line most of the day.
Generally, because I have been doing this for about 4 months, I know what I have to look at to get points.
#1. In the morning, I first go to my emails and read those as they add points; if there are articles to read on the emails I have not read, I do this to pick up my three for the day and if the recipe in the email sounds like something I would like to try, I print it, try the recipe and then go back later to pick up the points. I usually will try one recipe a day.
#2. Once this is done, I then do my menu for the day. I know each day of the week what I am eating for breakfast and for lunch. I key these in to get my points. Because dinner is basically the only unknown, I will key those numbers in late in the evening, around 9PM.
#3. Once all the menu has been completed, I then do the point group regarding "how healthy were you today".
#4. I do my exercises or walking not only on the days scheduled but every day, usually early in the day and I enter those number when I do my evening meal.
#5. Sometimes, I get lucky and get high points for logging in on the wheel.
#6. I always make sure I get the points for going from each of the stages all of us have to go through.
#7. I often post on the new member site with a welcome message and this too adds points.

I do try not to spend too much time on the internet but this is such a unique program that it is hard not to get involved as you puruse all areas.

I retired in January of 2006 and have more time now than I've ever had to search and enjoy my computer. My husband and I do not have family that live close by so we entertain each other doing things we both enjoy and visit family (an hour and 1/2 away) a couple of time a month.

In total, I probably spend at least 2 - 3 hrs. on this site. Once in the morning and once at night. It seems a small amount of time in reflection if the goals set are reached and maintained.

Good luck to you as you endeavor to meet your goals and I hope I was able to answer your question. ddwdat 12/31/06

Good Sunday morning: I ran across your page looking at points. I want to know how you get so many points in a month without spending all day on line. You are doing very well at your weight lose. I can't say that I am doing so well but January 1st is a new year and a new beginning. I love Sparks but find it very time consuming. How much time do you spend on line each day? I take piano lessons and sew besides like my house clean, have a husband who needs some of my time and two grandsons who live close by. I feel like I need to spend less time on line. How about you.
