I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

Sadly, I made the huge dieters mistake of thinking of it as something with a beginning and an end and once I was no longer tracking all my food and exercise I fell back into old habits.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

1 Drink at least 8 glasses of water /day
2-Measure and track all food- increase sv of wh. grains & fish.
3-ST with spec attn to core.
4- stretch with spec attn to IT band.

    I told Janet you invited me to go with you to her place for Lemon meringue pie,it sounds like fun but I live a we bit off,
    Switching things up it’s not a bad thing as long as you don’t forget the important things. I’m always forgetting to do my blood pressure and take my vitamins and supplements, I have been known to forget to eat breakfast or lunch or both on some days. Just because I got waylaid started my day off kilter and can’t seem to find my stride . I like to blame that on Erik but he really isn’t always the cause. I am a scatterbrain! More ADD than OCD , my order and lists help me focus and get things done. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Cats!! Tony doesn't bother me very much. He spends his time hugging a space heater we use in one room in the winter or lying in the sunshine in the summer. That and adoring his absolute favorite person...John. But, if I set up a jigsaw puzzle, he'd be all over that.
