Edited 01/26/2018: Now, I'm -41 lbs and counting. I'm still doing Keto/LCHF (happily) and now and then I do Intermittent fasting 16:8 and it's been surprisingly easy with Keto.

My Goals:
I'm trying to lose 76 lbs. I would like it to be as soon as possible, but I'm OK just by starting.
Edited 5 months later: I still have a weight loss goal, but now my main goal is to become healthier: I quit smoking, I quit sugar and I want to eat cleaner and more natural every day.

Start working out 3x a week. DONE June/10/2015
Quit smoking by September/24/2015. DONE June/12/2015
Workout 5x a week. DONE August/2015
Lose 10 lbs. DONE June/22/2015
Quit sugar. DONE September/14/2015
ONEderland. DONE September/28/2015
Lose 20 lbs. DONE October/26/2015
Lose 30 lbs. DONE March/18/2016 AND August/25/2017
Lose 40 lbs. DONE May/13/2016 AND December/8/2017
Lose 50 lbs.
Lose 60 lbs
Lose 70 lbs AKA Goal Weight.


My Program:
I believe that every food group has it's benefits and shouldn't be excluded, with that in mind I (try to) eat vegetables as the base and add protein (lean and clean) carbs (complete grains, nothing processed), fats (mostly from vegetable sources) and fruit (twice a day) and NO ADDED SUGARS!
I also do some short workouts first thing in the morning and yoga or another workout after work.
Lots of water, no fizzy beverages, no artificial sweeteners, no sugar (not even honey, agave or anything) and no "fat free" products because of the horrible amount of added sugars.
I try to find balance and choose the best option for my health.

Added August 2017: I just started a Keto/LCHF program and let's see how that works for me.

My name is Danny, I'm trying to lose weight, stop smoking and being healthier.

Edited to add: I quit smoking 2 years ago (cold turkey), I'm working out regularly, and trying to choose wholesome and unprocessed food.

Edited to add, 01/26/2018: Still no smoking, no sugar and working out. Now I'm doing Keto/LCHF and I've been feeling fantastic and losing weight easier than with a traditional high carb low fat diet.


Other Information:
Not my first try at loosing weight, but my first try at a healthy lifestyle and healing emotionally so I don't overeat for comfort. So far so good! (-30 lbs)

    What most women don't understand is that every man has to BUY a womb in order to have a son otherwise he is nothing in the gene pool. That is why men have ruled women, having fathers trade daughters for their sons. We as woman just don't have sense enough today to know with the world population, we only need two children. (Because of death from so many diseases years ago and childbirth, women had to have five children so 2 got to adulthood.), but today we don't need to spend our "short" lives raising kids like women did years ago. I'm glad you attended the March. I certainly grew up in the 50s/60s when all I was told was "You will get married and do what HE wants as he will be the "Breadwinner." What a fool I was not to do for me as it left him with all the power. Even in the workplace women get less. Listen to Elizabeth White's TED Talk on "55, Unemployed and Faking Normal."

    Doing great today. Mediterranean diets going very good. Down 5.5 lbs. In 1 week. Very happy about this. I have been drinking alot of Water NO junk food. Have a great weekend!
