OMGracious in 11 days I will be a Spark Person for 10 years. Oh it has been so worth it -- meeting so many new friends -- and losing a few along the way. I have not achieved my goal as of yet but continue to lose each year -- even if just a small amount.

This past year I got on the stick -- so to speak. I lost very slowly but very consistent and am proud to say I lost 27 more pounds. Just a couple or three pounds per month -- but that adds up to good numbers.

Enjoyed my 75th birthday today. Oh how I used to think that was old....NOT !!!! I feel good and believe that is due to good eating and exercising regularly.

Never quit -- keep on keepin' on and smile.

Continue to enjoy SparkPeople and all the friends I have made through the years. All settled in my new little home and I have lovely neighbors. Active in the Senior Centers available. Exercising regularly and always record those nutrition numbers daily. Wishing success to us all!

well I am less weight than last year but not everything I wanted to accomplish. So proud to have so many Spark People friends and motivators. Just moved to a new location and getting organized ....after that I need to get back on a regular exercise routine. Summertime will also add water exercises with the pool available to where I now live.

Starting a new commitment for my health. New goals and exercise plans.

Now I'm 71 and last year I lost 34 pounds. Extending my Year of the Roc ...

Turned 70 on January 1st ... this extra weight makes for a challenge so I need to work on myself this year ... Year of the ROC ....WOOHOO ...

After a rough 6 months of medical problems I am getting back on track.

Stay strong and stay on track in 2015!

Starting another year of SparkPeople. It is a daily struggle but I've had losses every year since joining -- which is good! I want to be more dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and achieve success in losing more pounds.

Love to Spark .... I have met so many new friends throughout the past 2 years. I'm starting off this year with my Fitbit attached daily to encourage me to do that extra bit to get fit every day. I am setting more goals to achieve in 2013.

2012 -- Going Strong
I have turned 66 and in 2011 I definitely got in better shape and condition .... I will continue going to the Y to exercise as much as I can .... golly, it sure was nice seeing the lower weight on that scale this year from last year's weight. Sure makes a person feel great!
Going to keep positive and keep on losing !!

2011 - Win/Win
I am going to get this weight off with the help of all my Spark Friends & Teams ... I just turned 65 and want to be in better shape and condition by the time I hit the big ole 66 ... I really believe this site will definitely help me attain my goals ...

Thank you for checking on me. I have been so busy lately and sometimes I forget about me and I need to get back on track. I have been helping with the booster club for our softball team and have been going to the games as I have a 16 year old that is on the team. I also have been walking 3 miles every other day or at least three days a week. I will also be working out at fitness 19. I am really struggling again with the weight. I am stuck and it doesn't seem to come off very easy at his point. But I will not give up! emoticon

I am in a weight loss competition at Genghis Grill here in town. If I get enough votes/lose weight I can win 10,000 dollars. Hope I win.... I have a 7 pound tumor in a very bad place... Only way that I am going to be able to get it taken car of is if I win.... It makes it hard to exercise(hurts the whole time....but i keep going!).
Stick with that Zumba girl! I know you can do it!!
It does get easier... I can attest to that...
I am no pro... But I can tell...every day I have a little less difficulty...more pep in my step...
    Take care chicka!!
