January 25, 2016. I first joined the website on June 20, 2012 and was doing really well until the end of that August. At that point things in my life started getting busy and I didn't have time anymore to handle keeping up with everything, so I settled back in to my old habits. Well, no more of that! I am tired of being out of breath just walking up the stairs at work. I am tired of avoiding going to theme parks with my friends because I don't fit on the rides. I love crazy rides, but everyone thinks I'm a chicken because I won't go on them. No more. Weight Loss Journey ~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/25 - 400+? My scale tops out at 400, and I'm just getting an Error message. :( How did I let myself get this far? 1/29 - 397 It measures me now! I must have been right around 400. 2/1 - 395.8 First week done! 2/8 - 393.3 (-7.7lbs) 2/16 - 391.6 (-8.4lbs) 2/24 - 388.6 (-11.4lbs) 3/3 - 382.2 (-17.8lbs) **Mini Goal Achieved! I had a goal set for myself the first week of March. I attended a hockey game with my boyfriend - last year the flights of stairs to get to the top nearly made me pass out. I wanted to be able to go up without having to stop or catch my breath. This year I got to the top expecting more stairs because I wasn't even winded! 3/10 - 379.3 (-20.7lbs) 3/17 - 378.4 (-21.6lbs) 3/24 - 374.6 (-25.4lbs) **Half way to my first goal! 3/31 - 372.2 (-27.8lbs) 4/7 - 370.8 (-29.2lbs) 4/14 - 368.0 (-32lbs) 4/22 - 371.4 (-28.6lbs) :( 4/29 - 366.2 (-33.8lbs) **Mini Goal Achieved! I did a 5K for work this past Saturday and did it in just about an hour! Was proud of myself for being able to keep up. 5/6 - 366.4 (-33.6lbs) Maintaining is better than gaining, right?! 5/12 - 365.1 (-34.9lbs) 5/19 - 364.7 (-35.3lbs) 7/21 - UGH, I'd been doing so well then vacation happened and I just fell off the wagon. Now back on with 6 weeks until Fair - let's see if I can get to that original -50 lbs goal! 9/2 - 375.5 (-24.5lbs) Okay, starting back for real now. First day of Fair, lost a bit from what I'd gained back and now with walking 6+ miles a day, I feel like I can be back at this.

My Goals:
I don't just want to lose weight. I want to overhaul my life. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. ;) I have been overweight since I can remember and I hit my all-time high a few weeks ago.

My Program:
I am watching my food intake, trading crunchy chips for crunchy carrots. Slowly trying to increase my physical activities, but with my weight, it's rough on my joints.

Personal Information:
I am pretty quiet and typically very introverted. I won't talk much unless prodded.

Other Information:
My favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell. I love intellectual conversation and debate.
