Begin again, no matter how many times you need to.

Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.

Conquering stress may seem easier in some ways, with the wisdom gained over my many years, but hormonal changes threw much of that, out the window.

A new strategy is required.

This is a much like a game. Seeing what will will work and what will not.
You can do all the old tricks just right, but that only worked when you were a younger version.
It takes patience, perseverance, commitment and the ability to get up when knocked down, over and over and over again.

Think you are doing OK? Boom! Injury, sickness, death of a loved one.
Or maybe you take care of everyone else and need to do something for yourself.

Get up. Go again, even if it takes you awhile.

Lean on God, your spark friends and the very depths of your soul.

Remember where you came from and who you are.

I am up for another round.

"Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off your goals.
Any great achievement is preceded by many difficulties and many lessons; great achievements are not possible without them.
After every difficulty, ask yourself two questions; "what did I do right?"and "what would I do differently?"
Resolve in advance to persist until you succeed, no matter what the difficulty.
Your most valuable asset can be your willingness to persist longer than anyone else.
Difficulties come not to obstruct, but to instruct."

My son is now 55 y/o . The brain injury made finding a job he could do to keep employment very difficult. He quit treatment a bit early and because of some clumsy movements and no longer skills to get a job that lasted, yet he still kept trying.
About 10 years ago he heard about our largest hospital here needing volunteers to photo-copy billings or whatever. It was usually a few hours twice a week. After a few years of this and a few extra hours added someone suggested they could create a paying job for him which he is handling well.
And 6 years ago he married a gal who moved back into our area. She is bipolar. They cope well with each others needs.
    How about your husband?
