Begin again, no matter how many times you need to.

Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.

Conquering stress may seem easier in some ways, with the wisdom gained over my many years, but hormonal changes threw much of that, out the window.

A new strategy is required.

This is a much like a game. Seeing what will will work and what will not.
You can do all the old tricks just right, but that only worked when you were a younger version.
It takes patience, perseverance, commitment and the ability to get up when knocked down, over and over and over again.

Think you are doing OK? Boom! Injury, sickness, death of a loved one.
Or maybe you take care of everyone else and need to do something for yourself.

Get up. Go again, even if it takes you awhile.

Lean on God, your spark friends and the very depths of your soul.

Remember where you came from and who you are.

I am up for another round.

I thought you were the person who asked me about Littlestown and finally found the source. I have never travelled that much in PA but do know the area around Gettysburg at least was very pretty when I was there maybe 50 years ago. And my parents went to the area when the got married. Mom esp. enjoyed the dogwood trees the beginning of May

DH and I live in the Allentown area. Our trips of late rarely are more than 10 miles from home since I don't care much for driving and his eyesight and age aren't best for distances.

I'm sorry to hear about your DH. Two months after graduating from college our son drove up a tree. Among other lesser injuries was his head, coma for 17 days then learning to hold a spoon, to talk/walk/etc.

Seeing your courage and strength through your daily situations, no wonder your daughter loves and respects you so much. I do too.
