Due to the fact that I have not lost any weight this summer, and I rode my bike everyday an average of 8-10 miles a day, my doctor put me on a strict diet, 1,200 calories a day, with at least 20 minutes of high activity exercise. SO I joined this to keep track of every little thing I put in my mouth. We eat out often so this is going to be interesting. I only weigh 170, and am 5'5.
I have been married for almost 38 years, with 3 sons, 37(stepson) 34(married), 27 (girlfriend).
So I rode my bike everyday this summer, and lost absolutely no weight, or inches. My thyroid is on the under active side, so we are trying this.
I have doing this since last Thurs, and have lost about 2.5 pounds--I;m sure mostly water. OH, I also have to drink at least 60 ounces of water a day and cut out caffine...I'm down to 1 cup of coffee a day. This should be interesting. I really need to lose inches. Dad passed away 11 years ago due to congestive heart failure, my brother followed 3 years later due to a massive heart attack. 5 years ago Mom had a heart attack, and I have had a minor one--9 years ago. So heart disease runs in the family. My middle son took up running to lose weight, and right now the youngest is running his tail off for work, the oldest has a high activity level job-tree trimmer-so he is slim. Our youngest son has had a cardiologist every where he had lived, college, his first job, ect. So we try to watch what we eat--not always easy.
I love to crochet, read (Dee Henderson, Irene Hannon--2 of my favorites), make jewelry, and do lots of crafts.
Christmas is my favorite time of year and I collect snow people.
