Introduction Text Recently retired Healthcare consultant, lives on an island near Seattle with husband and Jake the dog. Have traveled extensively. Now continuing to travel in the winter months to California in RV.

My goal is to weigh 150 lb. which is a weight I was at ten years ago. The problem is I gained back the weight and added more. Now that I'm retired, I want to stay at 150 lb. for me, for my knees and for my life.

I have always eaten healthy but sadly too much of a good thing hiked up my weight by increments of 10lb a decade. Now it's time to take control. Continue organic healthy choices but use a food log daily (makes all the difference in the world!) Maintenance for me will be less bread and sugar, healthier portions and having fun with maintaining a sensible weight.

I am from Wisconsin originally, via 10 years in Alaska, and now 17 years in WA state. I have traveled extensively with my career in healthcare and now continue to travel in retirement (wintering in CA.) Married to an awesome guy for 17 years. One daughter no grand children.

Life is what you make of it. I worked hard, suffered by earning several degrees, lived life fully as I continue to do now in retirement, just a bit slower. It doesn't take as long now to put in a days work. Blessed to be happy and healthy.
