Hiya all. My name is Crystal and I am fat! I have several dibilitating health problems that make it near impossible to loose weight the proper way. I been on SP for a few years now and it helped me loose about 70 pounds around the time of my wedding (7/7/07) but I have gained it back.
I lost over 100 lbs in 2010 due to my xh leaving and going through a divorce. But the weight was lost in the worst way and its now back. Not all of it. but I want it off again, the right way, the way that'll keep it gone. I eat pretty healthy with few "free days." I love cooking homemade meals, spending time with my fur babies.I am strong willed and VERY stubborn. The two aren't always a great mix but I make it work! I try everything, if I cannot do it because of pain or lack of skill then I stop, sometimes.
I deal with the hand dealt to me with humor and being a smart butt.
I dont lie to myself and I dont look for a "majic pill" to fix me. I know the health is here to stay, but the fat can go, eventually! I didnt gain this much over night and it wont get lost over night!
I can motivate myself when I really want ironic eh.
I tend to get along with people twice my age. I like politics and topics of great debate, history, criminal justice, and self improvement!
I hope that I can stick to SP this time, I just cant push myself daily like I wish I could. Im in a prison of flesh and bone and the only way out is to battle the weight and take the meds.. Im good at meds, weight not so much.
I find it easier to talk with people with other health problems. Overweight people and sick people, to me, get along better for the simple fact we are all stuck in our own bodies. I envy people with healthy legs, I fight the urge to smack lazy people on a daily basis. People that are able and completely undisabled but lazy just push my buttons like nobody's business.
I miss working a great deal.
And I love large breed dogs. They are just as slow and floppy as :)

Just going to take it one day at a time, according to pain levels I will choose from tae bo, swimming, or some cardio dvds that are collecting dust.

    I finally found on your spark page that you are from Illinois. I was born in Wisconsin many years ago...well in 1962. Seems like many years ago!! Still love the Packers and football. Don't get to see them as much as I would like. Are you a Bears fan?? Or not a football fan at all?? Being raised in Wisconsin and having 3 older brothers, football was just second nature. Understand if it isn't for you. Hope you have a better week than the day you had yesterday!! Glad it wasn't worse!!
