Hey everyone! I started this page as I was just entering law school, but didn't do such a good job of keeping it up, or sticking to the goals I set out to accomplish in making this page. Now I'm finally back, after about 3 years, another degree under my belt, and about 60 extra pounds over the belt! Now that I'm out of the emotional bubble I called school and passing the bar...I have no more excuses and it's finally me (as in my health) time!

Instead of rewarding myself with food as I have done in the past, I came up with 7 goals as I lose weight (each goal is set at 10% of the new weight) Breaking it down into these smaller chunks also makes it sound so more manageable.

I'm pretty short (5'1 1/2) so I've picked 130 as my initial "goal weight" and once I reach that, I'll have a much better idea of what my true goal weight will be. So stay tuned :)

My Goals:
Although my goal is to lose weight, I really just want to feel and look healthier.

I like to set up mini-goals for myself...I need to redo this section with some new ideas of things I want to work towards. In the past I've rewarded myself with food and items, but this time around I want to stop rewarding myself with food.

My Program:
Just trying to count calories, watch what I eat and portion control. I've never been successful with fad diets or depriving myself, so I'm trying to work in the things I enjoy while not going overboard on them. That will always be a work in progress!

Personal Information:
I've recently passed the bar and this whole losing weight thing is the last thing on my "to-do" list of life. It's now or never...I'm not getting any younger!

    Yep, finally some weight loss, I took my measurements, and am down in every area, an inch from my waist, bust, and neck. Three quarters of an inch from my calf, and hips, and a quarter inch from both arms. Almost done, am going to try and do all 6 days this week, hopefully I don't pass out from exhaustion.

    Pretty shi-tty for a while.
    I actually let myself get back into a dark place I swore I would never go again. Eating to "fix" feelings.. Hiding it, pretending I was fine. I wasn't working out AT ALL.. I now have about 2+ hours a day that I have to drive, and so I would make excuses as to why I couldn't work out.. that I deserved to sit on my big ole butt.

    BUT! Sense got knocked into my head and I decided I had enough.
    I joined a gym locally and have been going. Physically, it feels like I am back to 300 lbs sometimes. BUT that is what happens when you slide.

    It doesn't feel great right now, but I am finding my inner warrior again. Let's keep in touch and push each other, ok?? :)

    Cassie!!!! I started on month 2 today and HOLY MOLLY, it was the fit test and the max interval circuit, so about 90 minutes of Crazy Insanity. I'm still wondering what about what I got myself into.

    emoticon you're getting it done, and that's all that matters, I've been struggling with dinner time, I just eat whatever and I need to change that ASAP. Keep up the hard work.
