Hi everyone! My name is Corrie, I am a 29 y/o student, wife and mother looking to make some healthy changes in my life. I stumbled across this site and absolutely love it so far!

I recently accomplished one of my goals by quitting smoking (4 months, Yay me!!) Now I am on to my next goal of living the healthiest life I can.

My goal is not to be skinny, even though that could be a happy side effect skinny is not my ultimate destination. I want to be healthy, I have seen many family members die of illnesses and their complications that were all preventable. I don't want that for myself.

I am hoping to find some new friends that are close by. I have always found surrounding your self with like minded people helps you in accomplishing life-style changes.

My Goals:
My main goal is to live a healthier life. I want to be aware of what I am putting in my body and stop the mindless snacking in downtime. A side goal to this, is to lose 35lbs by my 30th birthday.

My Program:
I am not really using a program. I am putting to work the old saying on "Eat less, move more". So basically I am keeping track of my food and calories and really upping my exercise and activity.

Personal Information:
Well, as I said before I am 29, I have been married for 8 years this November (together 13) to my best friend. Together we have a 13 year old son who is about to start 8th grade. (Oh my...) I am currently working towards my AA degree and have very big plans for my education and career in the future. I am very motivated and driven and working on focusing that on my health and making the most out of my life.
