Hello All, My name is Corinne. In early March of 2012 I had a heart "scare". The doctors were afraid that I was having a slight minor heart attack but it would never show up on an EKG, yet I had all of the symptoms. From the day I left the hospital, I vowed to eat better and excersise more. The problem was that I smoked and I liked to drink beer with my husband. I have since quit smokeing(as of March 16th of this year) and while I still have beer on Friday & Saturday nights, I have chosen a lighter beer and limit myself!! I hope to one day be able to run a 5k or atleast jog one! For now, i am just walking everyday(usually) with my daughter(she is my biggest supporter and encourager) and doing some crossfit here and there!

UPDATE: Well I am now 36 years old. I am recently divorced. In the last year(since I left my ex husband) I have gained 25lbs back. I WAS down a total of 65lbs..then I just sort of fell off the weight loss track. I started eating whatever I holding back, drinking excessively, smoking again.. anyway, now..20lbs heavier and my pants fitting tighter..I am ready to do this again. I am happily with a wonderful man who adores me for me and loves my daughter. He likes to eat...this is going to be a challenge.. I am pretty good at staying away from his candy's the baked potaotes and beer that I have a hard time with. My momma & I have started Zumba..that's a ton of fun! Hopefully, I can drop the 25lbs I gained + another 25lbs..

MY GOAL: I would like to be a healthy & fit 145-150 lbs by May 2017... Im getting remarried!

My Goals:
My goal is to be HEALTHY..not PENCIL THIN! I want to be a role model to my teenage daughter who lives in a world where looks and weight are a major factor among girls her age. I want her to know that being beautiful starts on the inside & being healthy is what really matters! I also want to complete a 5k someday.
I can not wait to reach these goals.! I started out at 241 lbs 3.31.12

Personal Information:
I am originally from the Bay Area, Concord Ca. but I have lived in the Texas Panhandle for 20 years now. I like it alright, but the tornado warnings scare the living daylights out of me!!
