I am mom to three gorgeous and energetic kids, a wife, a personal trainer, fitness director, and health coach (NOT the Beachbody kind). I may be a bigger girl, but somehow I am stronger than most, have more energy than most, and have a love for fitness and nutrition that runs deep.
My reason or "WHY" for losing weight has more to do with my body than my appearance. My joints are starting to feel my weight and I need to reverse that quick! I also want my youngest to know what healthy eating and activity means. He is already pretty savvy about sugar and is not much into candy or sweets, but he eats a lot more processed foods.

My Goals:
Goals:
Get under 200 pounds by December (17# to go)
Lose 83 pounds by June 2021.
Bike ride once a week
Workout 3x week


My Program:
So, I work in a gym, I manage the weight room and group fitness classes, but I have not really worked out like I am used to since January. Just after Christmas, my knee started to really hurt (like crazy bad). I had injured it a couple of years prior and had started to get stiff (no pain). But by mid-January, I had more days where I couldn't walk standing up than not. I had a clean-up surgery Feb. 3rd, when they removed 30% of my meniscus. I have had a hard recovery for some reason, but the last few weeks have gotten so much better. So I am hoping that this means I am not going to need a replacement and that I can start to get back to weights, biking, rowing, and paddleboarding. This girl needs her daily movement in a big way!

I will be 45 this year and I am starting to feel it.
