My name is Jamie. I'm a 27 year old full time college student with designs on a profession in the medical world (see: big time smarty doctor type person). I work three jobs, and have completely forgotten what sleep is. On top of all of this, I'm gonna be thin man, thin! This requires finding time in my days that have no time to work out and eat, because I have a tendency to skip meals. Which, doesn't work as well as one would think!

I'm a total dork, but in that disarming good girl charm sort of way.

I love writing and graphic design, I love to garden because it makes me all warm and fuzzy when stuff grows, I can't sing to save my life but make up songs about random things and sing anyway, I think cowboys are sexy, I love zombies, and I abuse commas, because they have it coming.

Goals are tasty and good for you. I'm measuring my weight loss by pants. Yes, pants. Pounds are fine and good, but what really matters is if you can get your pants to button or not. :) Seriously, I have a closet full of pants of different sizes that semi to absolutely don't fit. The goal by the end of the summer is to fit into my smallest pair.


1st Goal - 24 pounds gone by Spring Break 3/20 - DONE!

2nd Goal - Fit into the first group of pants by 3/20 - DONE!

3rd Goal - Fit into second group of pants - DONE! (4/11)

4th Goal - Fit into third group of pants - DONE! (4/27)

5th Goal - 48 pounds gone by end of Spring Term 6/17 - DONE!

6th Goal - Fit into fourth group of pants

7th Goal - 75 pounds gone by end of summer and get into final group of pants by 9/28

8th Goal - 100 pounds gone by my birthday and my (hopeful) trip on 12/14! Also: new pants! Woot!

My Goals:
To fit in to the cute cute clothes they don't make for my size, to feel better about myself, to be healthy.

Do the 3-Day next year in Seattle or San Fransisco. I'd love to do it this year, but I'm not sure I could raise the money in time.

Also, Hood to Coast is calling my name!

My Program:
+ Forcing myself to stop and eat no less then 1200 - 1550 calories a day

+ Cardio 7 days a week - 30 to 60 minutes a day

+ CT5K, because I can

+ Strength Training 3 times a week

+ Keep drinking 4+ liters of water a day

    Im doing good. on week 3 day one again. youre right, its too hot to be running outside. i am hoping to join up with the local fitness center and do some of the running inside.
