I'm 34, happily married and we have a wonderful 6 year-old son. I have been a member of SparkPeople since August 2007 and have yet to even come close to reaching my goal weight, although I have never really "given up", I have experienced a constant ebb-and-flow of determination and focus. I'm OVER IT!!! Some things I WILL accomplish in 2012: I WILL get down to a healthy weight and BMI. I WILL fit into, buy lots of and strut my behind in size 10 jeans. I WILL stop comparing myself to people I used to know who haven't changed physically since high school. They are not me. I WILL be HAPPY with WHAT I look like on the outside because I am totally HAPPY with WHO I am on the inside!!! I WILL get my cholesterol levels down in a healthier range! I WILL eat for nutrition and health (mostly) and not for emotional satisfaction. I WILL be fit enough to wear a bikini on the beach and not wonder who is laughing at me. I WILL be a strong, happy and healthy example for my son, my husband, my family and friends. I. WILL.
